Luckily, together with some other bloggers, I was invited by omy to attend one of the shows: Francis Cheong Couture featuring Christy Chung (thanks, omy!). It was held on last Tuesday 9PM in Tent @ Orchard, in front of Ngee Ann City.
Around 9PM, we entered the bar to mingle and socialize with others with some drinks from the sponsors. The show itself started around 10PM. Everyone got a goody bag from Marie France Bodyline filled with vouchers for the treatments (worth hundred dollars), Perfectionist Serum and Bella Eye Beauty Cream (Bella Skin Care is a sibling brand of Marie France Bodyline). I tried the eye cream to brighten the dark circle under my eyes (due to wearing glasses and too much sleep I guess haha), and I like it so much.
Francis Cheong is a Singapore’s fashion designer who has won several awards, and Christy Chung, a famous actress and an ambassador of Marie France Bodyline, flew from her home in China to wear Francis Cheong’s best collection. This Spring/Summer 2011 collection represents the beauty of Asian women, with oriental touch, very elegant and colorful. I got a seat second row from behind, quite far to see details of dress on the runway. Here some pictures I took during the show.
Honestly it was my first experience to attend such an exclusive hi-class fashion show, here in Singapore that has big potential to be the top fashion city in Asia. It somehow effects me to be more care about my body, style, appearance, beauty, to become more fashionable 😉
