Beauty Treatments

I went to Jakarta last week, and getting some beauty treatments since they’re so expensive in Singapore. I had Body Massage only 7SGD! And for my face, I really really needed to go to doctor to cure my acne problem.

Last year in Jakarta I’d tried (everyone’s talking about) Erha. But somehow their creams doesn’t work with me, my face became too much sweaty and pimples kept growing. I can’t blame on Erha completely because I myself had difficult life at that time (a.k.a stressful), so maybe the pimples came from that matter also. But still I feel like.. I’ve spent much money but I can’t get out of my pimple problems??! So I stopped using it after 8 months.

Then I moved to Singapore, using commercial products sold in many shops then the pimples got worse. I was willing to go to any treatment but still prefer Indonesian clinics to Singapore ones. After asking and browsing, I decided to go to Dr. Titi Moertolo in Jakarta. Nyeeet it’s more expensive than Erha! It costs me about 60SGD for facial (plus special mask and laser ray) plus doctor consultation. And other 70SGD for the medicines plus creams. After using it for 1 week, I feel my pimple-face is getting better.

I was given list of foods and products that should be not consumed when having pimples.

1. Products

  • Compact powder
  • Baby powder
  • Moisturizer
  • Shampoo 2 in 1 or 3 in 1
  • Hair conditioner
  • Baby shampoo

2. Foods

  • Egg
  • Durian
  • Ripe mango
  • Avocado
  • Greasy meat
  • Cockle
  • Kwaci (salted dried watermelon seeds eaten as a snack)
  • Emping (fried chips made of Gnetum gnemon fruit)
  • Santan (milk squeezed from coconut)
  • Chocolate
  • Vitamin E
  • Fried foods (including fried noodle and fried rice)
  • Peanuts
  • Milk (including cheese, butter, ice cream. Can be replaced with yogurt, fro-yo yay o/ and soybean)
  • Coffee (that contains of milk such as cappuccino, coffee mix and coffee cream)

What can I eat?! I hardly obey this rule. Wish me luck!

Back to beauty treatment. I had my hair Perming only for 20SGD (while in Singapore usually costs 120SGD), they said it will last until 3 months. I showed the salon-girl these pictures before she’s starting doing my hair. I want it with bangs, just like Katie Holmes.

I am still astonished at girls that hate their curly hair. This is pretty! Actually I had intention to curly my hair after watching Korean drama Coffee Prince. I captured some pictures when watching the series in my laptop about 4 months ago. See? That’s why I want it with bangs.

Hihi (craving for) curly hair: checked
