Travel Sick

Before the Internet, if someone disappeared, it meant you should go looking for them. Now it means they got a life.

Please consider me as getting a life for not having any chance to update this blog 😛

In this last one month I had fun and thrilling experiences in Kota Kinabalu (Malaysia), Bandar Seri Begawan (Brunei Darussalam), Bali and Lombok (Indonesia), not included my small trip back to Jakarta for visiting boyfriend family. Three weekends in a row I was not in Singapore. When you’ve traveled a lot (as a newbie, these are a lot :P), you’d find that you miss your time just for lazying around in your apartment. I even almost slapped my friend last week who asked “what will you do on weekend?” and when I answered “just staying at home” he was kind of seeing me with a pathetic look. Dude, seriously!

Wookie, now I want to share what’s inside my tiny backpack!

Even though I didn’t bring them all everywhere, like I didn’t bring jacket to the beach and mask to the mountain, but generally they are inside my bag: hat, jacket, shawl, umbrella, blackberry, wallet, notebook (as a book not laptop), pen, map, sunglasses, glasses (my sights are minus 800 and 600), the package of contact lenses, mask (with adjustable lenses)…. oh so much for these eyes! Also my harryPODder (yea I know the iPod is so 1st generation, so what, I like him. Did I just write say HIM?!), pocket camera (thank God I am not into photography), hand fan, sunblock, make-up kit, and usually some snacks plus a bottle of mineral water. In some countries, well okay, Malaysia, you would prefer to leave your passport at hotel, and take really care your bag on the street. (I think it’s applied also for Indonesia, but I wouldn’t say it because it IS my country…. but I just wrote said it!).

I hope to write here more often and read through all blogs I am following. See ya!
